Case: About 60 mm (2-3/8 inches) wide, this nice "Silverode" case is in good shape. Nickel cases were common in American watchmaking for several decades because they were less expensive and very durable. The front and back covers thread on and off as they should. The bow and crown are in good condition as well. Installed a beautiful new (old stock) clear glass crystal.
Dial: The original Arabic numeral dial appears perfect to the naked eye. Upon close inspection, a short, faint hairline is visible near the 28 minute mark. The mismatched hands are in excellent shape, as seen in photos.
