Produced in 1888, this Antique Elgin Pocket Watch features a rare private label movement signed "Chas. Wuersten, Warren, Ind."—a unique detail that adds a layer of charm and collectability. With 11 jewels, a rich gilt-finish movement, and a sturdy open face configuration, this 18-size timepiece is a fine example of late 19th-century American craftsmanship. The newly fitted clear glass crystal, strong running condition, and original dial with minor age-appropriate blemishes make it a wonderful addition to any vintage watch collection.

Case: About 60 mm (2-3/8 inches) wide, this nickel case has wear but is in good shape overall. It does have nicks and scuffs consistent with a pocket watch of its age. The bow and crown are in great shape too! Recently fitted with a new, clear glass crystal.
Dial: The dial is in fantastic condition with 2 small edge chips near the III-hour mark, and an even smaller one near the 30-minute mark. These small edge chips are not visible with the bezel on. Beautifully matched hands, as seen in photos!
A great opportunity for anyone looking for an authentic old west pocket watch, made in America!
